This storm chasing trip actually started on the night before our trip, when severe storms raced through the Houston, Texas area. Storm log and damage reports from SPC

We leave Houston, Texas and head for Amarillo, which has at least a slight chance of storms today. After a long day we are given a teaser lightning show Storm log and Images

5/31/2005 *2pages* While in Lamesa, Texas we get an internet update that shows three cells to chase. Near Plainview in the town of Hale Center the beginning of an awesome chase starts...complete with lightning, gust front, funnels, rainbows, and storm chaser convergence. 6/2/2005 One cell that quickly died in Liberal Kansas.
